Yoga Teacher Training
at St. Mark’s Yoga
Fall & Winter ‘25 & ‘26
Join in Community. Deepen Your Practice. Find Your Voice.
Choose the path that’s right for you.
WHO
This training is for students who are ready to dive into community and expand their yoga practice beyond the standard 1–2 hour class. It’s for those who feel the call to explore the deeper roots of yogic philosophy, study multiple styles of practice, and break down the foundations of asana (movement) and pranayama (breathwork).
Whether you're looking to understand hands-on assists, develop intelligent class structure, explore yoga as a tool for personal and collective transformation, or learn the fundamentals of the yoga business—this training is built to meet you there.
You’ll be learning from seasoned teachers in one of the most vibrant studios, neighborhoods, and cities in the world—an inspiring place to take your next step, whether it's toward teaching or simply deepening your own practice.
WHAT
We designed this training with two kinds of students in mind: those who want to deepen their personal practice, and those who feel called to teach. Whether your goal is personal transformation or professional development, we’re here to help you build a strong foundation and grow into a powerful, embodied practitioner—and, if it's your path, a confident teacher.
To support flexibility and accessibility, we’ve divided the training into two modules. You can complete just the first 75-hour training to enrich your practice and add to your movement resume, or continue on to complete both modules—75 hours + 125 hours—for full 200-hour certification.
We invite you to choose the path that honors where you are now and where you’re ready to go.
WHERE
This training takes place primarily in-person at the iconic 12 St. Mark’s building—home to St. Mark’s Yoga—right in the heart of the East Village, NYC.
Select weekly sessions, such as anatomy and morning pranayama/meditation, will be held virtually via Zoom and recorded for your convenience, allowing for flexible self-study throughout the training.
We believe it’s essential to work with yogic material both in real time and across distance—reflecting the way we live and teach today. This hybrid format helps you become fluent in both in-person and virtual spaces.
